Dear all,

I happened on this wiki: http://villagevotes.com/wiki/
Some pluses I see:
 a) MediaWiki based.  An easy technical fit for us.
 b) Legislative.  Fits one of our use cases nicely.
 c) New site

Some minuses:
 a) Site is poorly administered.  Spam isn't being cleaned up:

 b) I keep bumping into donation requests, raising suspicion about
    the purpose of the site:

 c) The plan for gamification sounds rather foolish, given the serious
    purpose of the site:

On balance, does not look promising to me.  But there it is.
