The editor as I have used it is amazing. Mike, have you tried it out? <div><br></div><div>Perhaps you can help us to answer your questions. Would you like it f we installed another pollwiki to test on perhaps? Would that be a way to answer your questions?</div>
<div><br></div><div>In my experience the editor does not insert junk html.</div><div><br></div><div>The editor is designed to respect parser functions, though I cannot speak for having seen it work with RDF.</div><div><br>

A good thing in my book.</div><div><br>I think it is better if everyone uses it.</div><div><br></div><div>As Thomas discovered this is not the editor on Wikipedia. The one they use is "lighter weight" and is not WYSIWYG. I think lightweight is good, but overruled by easy of use.</div>

I like this thing a lot!<br>
<br>
Unfortunatly I cannot really answer Mikes 3 questions:<div class="im"><br>
<br>
<blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex">
1) Will it interfere with the formatting of wikitext? If a single<br>
voter opts to use this editor, will it generate false position<br>
differences (due to its formatting quirks) that the entire tree<br>
of drafters must henceforth follow?<br>
<br>
2) Is its formatting of wikitext stable? Will a content change in<br>
one part of a document affect the formatting in another?<br>
(Formatting might also change from revision to revision of the<br>
editor, but that would be a less serious, once-only inconvenience<br>
for the drafters.)<br>
<br>
3) Is it compatible with the special markup used by Semantic<br>
MediaWiki?<br>
</blockquote>
<br></div>
@ 1): In order to enjoy the luxury of the thing, I would rather "force" everyone to use it, than not use it at all. Also, in this editor you can still write the old wiki-syntax and it gets translated.<br>
<br>
I hope, we can use it.<div><div></div><div class="h5"><br>
